Here, Sadie Kane is talking about the Egyptian sky goddess, Nut. Nut is a beautiful, yet somewhat sad woman, as she is not allowed to see her husband. Nut is important to the story because she is the mother of the antagonist, Set, but also the mother of other main characters, Horus and Isis. I chose this quote to capture Nut's appearance and brilliance. I won't ever get a chance to meet her, so i will have to use Sadie's words to imagine the sky goddess.
